Mike Simon, General Manager

Mike Simon joined Yours Truly as a manager in 1999 and worked at four Yours Truly locations over the years.  Throughout his career, he worked in management for a number of other restaurants, including Smokey Bones Barbeque and Chi-Chi’s.

Mike says Yours Truly offers him a great work environment.  “It’s the best company I’ve ever worked for.  They go out of their way to enable me to spend more time with my kids.  It’s a great balance,” says Mike, father of three.

At Yours Truly, Mike is admired for his unwavering commitment to get the job done right.  YT Partner Jeffrey Shibley says, “He understands all aspects of the business.  He has an incredibly strong work ethic.”

As Ashtabula native, Mike recently converted from a Giants fan to a Browns supporter.  His favorite sporting events are spent with his kids.  “We love to play baseball together.  I tell them I have my own little baseball team,” says Mike.

Mike attended Youngstown State University and has plans to take classes to complete a business degree at a college in northeast Ohio.

Eric Brown-Harris

If you hear singing in the kitchen while dining at Yours Truly, chances are Eric Brown Harris is cooking too.  Eric, a gospel singer, says his Yours Truly management job allows him to combine his two favorite hobbies:  singing and cooking.

Eric grew up in Alabama and attended Alabama A & M where he majored in music and communications.  Now most of his family lives in the Cleveland area, a place he calls, “a small big city.”

He’s a sports fanatic (“Sports should be my middle name,” he says) who favors the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Daring Eric even brought a Pittsburgh Steelers stadium blanket to a management meeting before the Browns versus Steelers game!  In the NBA, Eric is the ultimate fair weather fan, rooting for whatever team is doing well.

Eric began his career at Yours Truly as a dishwasher nearly ten years ago.   He says, “Working here is fun.  You have a good time, and it’s always a challenge.  I like challenges.”

His ultimate goal?  To open a soul food family style restaurant someday.  Until then, he’s enjoying his job at Shaker Square and making sure that his favorite menu item – the Sunrise – is served with a smile.

Neil Weisenbach

Neil joined Yours Truly in January 2008, bringing restaurant management experience from Applebee’s and Buca di Beppo.  He moved from Indianapolis to the Cleveland area to follow his sweetheart.  He eventually met YT Partner Darlene Shibley Ziegenhagen and decided he was ready to “retire” from the corporate life and work at a family owned business.

Neil loves to cook and is willing to create just about anything, including deep fried Twinkies!  At Yours Truly, the Cobb Salad and Fried Artichokes are his favorite menu items.

He is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt deer, turkey and waterfowl.  His four Labrador Retrievers – Rooster, Sadie, Sally, and Tanner – are his hunting companions.  They’re all named after John Wayne characters!

Neil, a Colts fan from his time spent living in Indianapolis, has three children and three grandchildren.

  Sharon Leone

Before Sharon Leone came to Yours Truly she was a banquet/picnic manager at Progressive Field, home to the Cleveland Indians.  Sharon says she came to Yours Truly for great food and a friendly Cheers type atmosphere.

Watching the face of a child light up when he received his kids pancake order in the shape of a famous mouse is one of her favorite YT moments.

Family is very important to Sharon and she enjoys spending her free time doting on her nieces and nephew.  A former east sider, Sharon moved to the west side to be closer to family.

Sharon enjoys cooking for friends and family, vacationing in tropical places (and hopes one day to open a beachfront restaurant!), reading, sketching, and attending Cleveland Indians games.

Sharon has a Yorkipoo named Buddy, and turtles Flash and Xena.  She credits her father for one of her favorite sayings, Dont panic.  Take a deep breath and think about it, and it will be o.k., says Sharon.   Sounds like good advice.
