David Schmidt, General Manager David began his Yours Truly career at the age of nineteen in February of ‘89 as a dishwasher in the Mayfield Village location. He worked his way up the ladder and nine months later was promoted to manager. David married his wife Gina in 1993. The pair met and worked together in Mayfield Village. They have four sons. When David is not busy with “friends” (a term he uses instead of co-workers) he enjoys gardening, aquariums, and spending time with his family. David says, “Working for Yours Truly allows me the unique opportunity of managing an experience - one where both guests and employees alike are happy and satisfied.“
Mary O'Brien Thanks to years of restaurant experience at restaurants like Nightown, Café Brio and Chesterland Tavern, Mary O’Brien soared quickly through Yours Truly’s management training program. Mary has many diverse hobbies. She’s an award winning quilter, avid gardener (two rural acres filled with ferns, hostas and bee balm attest to her skill) and artist. She attended the Cleveland Art Institute and sold some of her paintings and drawings when she lived in California. At Yours Truly, Mary likes to “turn out” a perfect omelet. “Eggs are my favorite thing to cook,” she says. Cottage cheese and fruit are her favorite items to order off the menu. When she’s not eating at Yours Truly, she loves to eat Japanese food, especially sushi. Why is Mary wearing a smile all the time? She credits her positive outlook on life. “I like to be happy and don’t let things get me down.” Mary shares her home with loyal friend Isobell, a grey kitten she rescued. “Life is not how many breaths you take, but moments that take your breath away.” Shauna Oreh brings a variety of experience to Yours Truly, from management consulting to environmental sales. Shauna looks at every shift as an opportunity to “host a party.” Working at Yours Truly provides great preparation and experience for her ultimate goal - opening a catering business. Perhaps she’ll serve one of her favorite YT dessert items, Kentucky Pie? Shauna, a mother of four grown children, including a son who also works at Yours Truly, enjoys cooking and decorating in her spare time. Meet the Managers at our other locations Beachwood Managers
