Darlene joined Yours Truly in 1985 after working in the food service industry in France and Switzerland.  She was the managing partner of the original Yours Truly Restaurant in Beachwood before taking over the responsibility of managing all of YT's managers.

An enthusiastic leader, Darlene has been initiating projects her whole life. As a senior at Orange High School, she founded the senior project program, which continues to serve as a model for high schools around the country establishing similar programs. She helped to establish a similar program at Ursuline College.

Darlene is a member of the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce, Community Chairman of the Board of the Business Department at Ursuline College, and former member of the Solon Civic Club.

Darlene and her husband own Playmatters Toy Stores, where Darlene is also vice president. The two enjoy spending their limited free time brainstorming and attending toy shows, playing bridge and golf, and traveling internationally with their three daughters, all of whom, in the YT family tradition, have been seen pitching in at various YT locations.
