George Healy, General Manager The day in 1996 that George Healy interviewed with Dick Humphrey, he sat on a bench by a window reading a collection of poetry by Yeats. He remembers a cook walking by and commenting on the knowledge of food he must have to be reading a book about yeast. After experiencing Dick's unusual interview style that seemed to match his own self-described unusual ways, George instinctively knew that Yours Truly was a rare find. George is married to a "beautiful Sicilian girl". He has lived in a multitude of different places, attended five different high schools (graduating from Chamberlain H.S. in Twinsburg), and is a voracious reader. He's even had some poetry and short stories published, so watch out William Butler Yeats (Yeast?)! George uses his quick wit and knowledge of trivia when he writes Yours Truly's Tuesday Memo, a weekly employee communication full of facts and fun. George has worked at nearly every Yours Truly location. Gary Johnston brought a wealth of industry experience with him when he joined Yours Truly in 2006. Prior to joining YT, he was a regional manager for the Garfield’s Restaurant and Pub chain, headquartered in Oklahoma. Gary moved from Pittsburgh to Painesville and came to YT in search of a job that required less travel. “The main reason I picked YT is because of its family ownership. It’s small enough that your voice is really heard,” says Gary, adding, “Plus, I really like the food!” (For the record, omelets, chicken wraps and Patty Melts are his favorites!) Gary, a father of four, ranging in age from 13 to 26, grew up in Pittsburgh, which explains his undying allegiance to the Pittsburgh Steelers. “I’m a 32 year season ticket holder,” says Gary. Gary is an avid high school wrestling fan. He makes a weekly trip to Pittsburgh to cheer on his youngest son, who wrestles on a club team there. Gary sees his role at YT as a teacher. “I’ve had it all. Now, I’m just happy sharing the knowledge I have and watching other people’s growth process,” he says. “Life is not how many breaths you take, but moments that take your breath away.” Shauna Oreh brings a variety of experience to Yours Truly, from management consulting to environmental sales. Shauna looks at every shift as an opportunity to “host a party.” Working at Yours Truly provides great preparation and experience for her ultimate goal - opening a catering business. Perhaps she’ll serve one of her favorite YT dessert items, Kentucky Pie?
